I just saw your post about your hubs. I'm so sorry. Mr. was unemployed for nearly three years while he went to school and only worked part time until he went into the navy this year. I know it's scary stuff and I'm sure adding in babies is even more for you.
I just wanted to give you a hug and say you're more than welcome to vent to me. I know the stress well. *HUGS*
Re: ~*~sbevmc09~*~
Thanks, I sure appreciate the hugs! We're really hoping that things pick up once we get through New Year's. MH had a phone interview last week and they're supposed to bring him in for an in-person interview sometime here soon. He's really interested in the position, but the downside is the salary that the company is offering is quite a lot less than what he was earning (stupid money!), but hey, it's an income and benefits and we'll figure out how to make it work if it does pan out! He's also supposed to have a phone interview sometime after the 2nd. Not sure if it's been officially scheduled or not. Send lots of job dust our way
I'm trying to remain positive (and doing a pretty good job so far), but I just feel like everything is so surreal right now, you know? We're so close to adding another person to the family, we're without an income for the first time ever, MH is home everyday (which is good, it's awesome to have the extra help right now, but weird and definitely throws off our usual routine). It's just all so strange. Hopefully everything will fall into place here soon!

I didnt see your original post but I get the gist. I just got laid off in October. NOT what you expect to hear the day after you spoke to HR finalizing your maternity leave/short term disability/vacation rollover plans.
It sucks but it will be nice to have your dh home when the baby comes! MH is always off for a couple weeks in Dec/Jan so he's been home and Im so scared for him to go back to work!
Best of luck to you guys, Im sure you'll figure it out!
Your attitude is fantastic. That will help a lot. I was getting very discouraged at the end and his joining the navy was one of those mixed blessings.
You're doing well staying upbeat and I bet having hubs home is a nice change of pace. I'd do anything to have that back even though it was frustrating to not have him going to work every day.
If you need to vent, just page me! (((HUGS)))
