AWing my DH... (and an update of sorts) Long, sorry!

Well, DH went out with his buddy earlier. He was supposed to get me a chocolate orange. That was his only mission! He came home sad, he couldn't find one. So, I got a box of mini turtles, a reese's candy bar thing, a coke, and a magazine. I told DH months ago, that when I was younger and I was sick, my dad would bring me home some magazines to read to keep me in bed/resting. He said that since I wasn't feeling well, he brought me home a magazine. I love that man!

So, the update...still not too much of a change. My chest is still hurting. I missed work this morning and my boss was NOT happy. She said some rude things to me on the phone. I am not scheduled until Wednesday, thankfully. I hope its enough time for me to heal. Last night was rough to sleep because I wasn't sleepy enough and when I laid down, it was hard to breathe. That freaked me out and DH came in and I started crying, which didn't help at all. Ugh.

Tonight, it was ok. I think my body is adjusting until it heals. I was eating a late supper with DH and I had to stop halfway through because not only is it hard for me to breathe due to the chemical burn, but my sinuses are all jacked because my allergies have been messing with me. So, I really couldn't breathe through my nose and had a hard time in general. I was trying to eat but I was getting light headed instead. Its so frustrating!

Dang girl, that sounds awful! IMO, you should brush what your boss said right off your shoulder - you don't need to hold on to that negativity while you're trying to heal. You deserve to focus on you! Praying for you DCW (hugs)

Wow, I am sorry you are not feeling well. Your boss sounds like a douche. I am sorry that you had to deal with that on top of not feeling well. Feel better soon!

Ugh, your boss sucks!! I'm sorry, but you are being way too nice about all this. I would report her a**. And I'm sorry you're still feeling lousy. I hope having the next few days off gives you the time you need to heal and feel better.

On the other hand, yay for DH being so sweet! Feel better!
