Consistent Movement

I know this question has been asked a million times, but I can't find it.

Around what week did you feel consistent movement?

I have an anterior placenta, at the top of my stomach, more in the right side. For the last couple days, it seemed like DD was very active. Yesterday and this morning, not so much. It's more like the flutters I had a few weeks ago and not the stronger "kicks" that DH was finally able to feel (ONCE!) on Christmas. I know she was/is breech, so I wonder if maybe she didn't flip (I have been having a lot of cramping/tightening as well) and now she is kicking the placenta and I just can't feel it.

I was just in L&D on Christmas Eve and everything was fine. Her heartbeat was strong and my cervix is closed. So I feel silly calling and going in again. Should I be concerned? I am 23w3d.

I am behind you, but I don't feel consistent movement. With my DS I feel like it wasn't until 26 weeks or so that things started to be more regular. If you are concerned or just need peace of mind, maybe call and see if they will let you come in to hear the heartbeat. I have a doppler at home, but I have a few friends that would just call to go in quick to hear the heartbeat for reassurance.

I'm a little over 24 weeks and I am not feeling consistent movememt. I also have an anterior placenta. Some days I really feel him, and he kicks very hard. Other days I feel close to nothing. Luckily, I have a Doppler, so I do a quick check on him on the days when he is not very active.

I can't wait to start feeling the big movements and hiccups like some of the other ladies on this board!

I'm almost 26 weeks and still not feeling consistent movement. I also have an anterior placenta and baby has been in a weird position with head down and feet down by her head. Poor DH hasn't been able to feel anything from the outside (I've only felt her a few times from the outside). I am so jealous of all these ladies feeling consistent movement. I know that everything is okay, but it still is nice to have that reassurance!

I also have an anterior placenta and this is my first!

I basically started feeling consistent movement in the middle of last week -- so just the past week or so.

Two or three weeks ago, I had a day where I felt nothing and it totally freaked me out.

I'm 25 wks with an anterior placenta as well as I really only feel her when I lay down and be still and that's only been for about two weeks. Prior to that I felt nothing at all. Everyone once in a while I will feel one random thump or bump if I'm sitting at my desk but it's rare at least now.

I am 25w5d, and even I don't feel consistent movement. Yesterday I barely felt any at all, and was a bit worried, but today he's back to being pretty active. And I feel him outside a lot too.

At my last appointment, I brought this up, and asked if I should be tracking movements or whatever yet to be safe. My OB told me that it's not really a big deal until about 28 weeks and that by then I should feel movement pretty consistently, at least when baby's not sleeping. So I'm still a couple weeks away from that, but I'd say by third trimester you should feel it more. I have an anterior placenta too, and it took me foreverrr to start feeling him, but it'll start! I wouldn't worry.

I started at 22 weeks feeling her move consistently. It isn't constant movement, but I feel her a little bit in the morning and usually at night. I kinda feel a rolling sensation in the afternoon on some days.

I just googled it because I couldn't remember, but you don't need to worry about consistent movement until about 28 weeks. That's when we should start doing kick counts. I know that it's hard, especially with an anterior placenta... but no worries. Go have something sweet like orange juice and see what baby does.

Thank you ladies. I have felt her a little bit. I'm thinking a lot of my cramping is either RLP or gas. If it continues tomorrow I will call the OB Monday and hope they're in the office.

I think 23-24 weeks, it started becoming more and more consistent for me. It was alittle more and more every day. Last week DH felt her move for the first time and I have definitely been feeling alllll the kicks and punches.
