teething rings

so i have a ton of teething rings for DD and some have the water in them. Well i usually freeze them, its what ive always done, then i come across an article saying you should not freeze them. so do i just refrigerate them? or should i just give her an ice cube in a towel? any suggestions are appreciated!

Re: teething rings

  • All I know is the ones with the liquid in them shouldn't be frozen. I think it's cuz it's not actually water and freezing them could break them and they leak. I refrigerate mine.

     This exactly.

  • You have to look and see if it says "freezer safe" on the packaging. I only have one that is okay to be frozen.

  • I also read that freezing them can cause a freezer "burn" to their gums and refrigerating is cold enough
