girls' accessory organization?

DD finally grew some hair (after 3 1/2 yrs...) and is really into headbands right now plus some bows/clips and now got a few necklaces & bracelets for xmas. I would love to find a box or neat way to store all of these things in one place, esp in a drawer in the kitchen, which is where her hair is usually 'done' on the way out the door...anyone know of anything? I know there are lots of things for clips or headbands or jewelry/accessories but would love something to fit all, aside from a tupperware box.

  • I made one of these from a big oatmeal container. Headbands on the outside, clips and on the inside. If you do make on, I suggest clipping the clips on a long piece of ribbon so you can pull it out to see everything and pick the clip you want without having to dump everything out, learned that after a bit of frustration :)

good idea about the ribbon- i saw some of those on etsy & was thinking it would be a pain to have everything dumped in there...I was also trying to brainstorm how I could create a hook inside to hang necklaces/bracelets on...
