I've been using them for over three years now and noticed they are bit cheaper than they used to be, but I don't know how recently they changed them. Maybe a year ago?

I haven't noticed a difference. The only thing I noticed is the ones with the stars seem to be thinner/less absorbent than the ones with the circles. We went on vacation recently, bought the star ones and had several leaks.

Clomid/Femara cycle #1 - 6/10 = BFN
Clomid/Femara cycle #2 - 7/10 = BFP #1 - Missed miscarriage 9/2/10
11/12 - BFP #2 - 11/22 - m/c
5/1/11 - BFP #3 - Pre-eclampsia, IUGR & bed rest from 32w. DD born via induction 1/4/12.
I think they have changed. We used them for two years with DD and I really liked them. I tried a few times with DS and i'm not impressed. I agree that the stars do seem thinner than the circles were. Sad because they were the best diaper deal around.
I have only used the circle ones and really like them. I was recently going to order online and noticed the horrible reviews for the ones with stars, but I purchased in-store and they are still selling the circle ones. So, you might get lucky and still be able to get a case or 2 of the old kind. The consensus from recent reviews is that they have definitely lowered the quality.
