My fiance and i haven't gone away with just the two of us in over 2 years. Before the baby comes in July I'd like to take a babymoon. We're trying to save money for a house, the baby, and eventually wedding, however going away is something i feel is important especially amongst all this craziness right now. I don't want to go anywhere too far no more than a 34 hour flight and it can't cost that much id like to spend a total of no more than 400 each. Any suggestions?
What about driving somewhere? We are planning on going to Portland, Maine. We went for our Anniversary 2 years ago there was alot to see and alot to do. If you were looking for a more relaxing on the beach type of thing I would try going on Cheapcarribean.com they have some cheap packages with airfare.
I was looking at cruises out of Boston just the other day. There are some that go up to Canada for a few days for around $400 per person. There are also some that go down to Bermuda if you're looking for a beachy type vacation, but I think they were a little more expensive.
We went to Savannah Ga in Feb. of 2011 and also had a July baby. It was perfect because I was still early enough on to be comfortable, we had a short flight and it wasnt overly expensive. I believe it is there off-season so its more affordable. We went there after it was suggested many times on here. Very romantic and great walking city. I highly recommend it. We stayed in a beautiful modern hotel for a great deal, I am drawing a blank on the name but it was across from Forsyth Park with a beautiful view. Good luck! That was our last trip out of Mass. so enjoy it while you can.
