Are tge top of your LO's nails smooth like yours or do they have vertical ridges in them? I have been meaning to ask this for a while now.

DS' have vertical ridges. I asked about it last time we were at the Peds office- if it meant he was deficient in a vitamin or something- they said it was normal.

Aria's have ridges. My ped isn't worried about it.

For that matter, mine have those ridges. My grandmother's nails have ridges, and her mother's had them too. My doc said it can be a genetic thing as well as a vitamin thing.
