Please recommend your toy storage! I would like something heavy enough that DS can't tip over if he pulls up on it, but other than that, just functional!
I really like that bench that my mom got from Target. It's leather and opens up for storage. It looks really nice and it's still functional especially in the living room. It's heavy too, so I don't think you'd have to worry about him tipping it over.

I'm on my phone and not sure how old your son is but we also used a bench for toys when she was young. Now we use the same bench for dress up clothes. And toys have been organized in an Ikea Trofast system. As the toys become smaller I really appreciate having them sorted so there's less temptation to throw everything out of the toybix and root around.

He's 10 months old... I didn't even think of that, that's a good point!
At 10 months the faux leather ottoman is a good choice. He'll be able to stand at it and dig around for his stuff. And it's not so deep that he'll fall into it. And it's low to the ground so less likely to tip over. Plus it looks nice. Its not a giant, garish colored toybox.
We used that with a couple of baskets until she was almost 3. And I'm now thinking of how I can rearrange and move my daughter's dress up stuff so I can have the ottoman back for my son's toys.
