  • When she started eating more things like pasta, meat, cheese etc.. I stared feeding her only when we eat. We have a small breakfast.. toast or some cereal or something, bug lunch, big dinner and maybe a snack or two. Snacks are always finger foods, usually I just put them on her little table and let her eat them there with me.

  • We started a second meal at 7 months. Dc gives ds lunch of a veggie. We started with with fruit for dinner and now am adding in meat and finger foods (noodles, cheese). I'll have dc start fruit for breakfast in the new year for the 3rd meal and dinner will be whatever we eat.

  • Around 7 months I had dc start giving breakfast.  When I am home I will offer her foods whenever I eat since she is mainly eating finger foods.

  • We started when our guy told us he didn't want a bottle but that he was hungry. I think that was about 5.5 months. There were times he wouldn't take a bottle, we'd try food and he'd eat no problem. We started with fruit and then alternated with veggies. Once he was through all the 1st Foods we dove into meats and a greater variety of veggies and fruit.

At 7.5 months he's eating 3 times a day. (Our pedi said its because he's big boy) and its usually when we are eating. He's FF and that makes a difference from what I hear.
