DD is turning 2 next month, and we're having a party for her. I'm a little unsure of what we should do as far as activities/games. Most of the guests will be between 2 and 3, but there will be a couple kids there in the 4-6 age range. Any ideas? I know the younger kids aren't ready to grasp the concept of true party games, but I don't want the older kids to be totally bored. TIA!

I remember this as a game from my childhood. We stood ona stool and had to drop a cloths peg into a sour cream container. I remember it being fun. It could be a ball in a mop bucket or something at that age. Arts and crafts might be a fun party activity at that age. That would be something they can take home as part of their loot bag as well.
I'm sure you can adapt these to a girls party somehow but we didn't do games we did "activities".. we had a car theme so we did a car wash (balloons hanging from crepe paper from the ceiling) you could call it something else and use girly colors.. i also made cars from boxes and covered them with white paper and let the kids color them. you could have stencils out for the older kids or stickers? you could make them princess-y or something like that.
that's all that we did because we had the CARS movie playing and ate food, cake, and did gifts.. that filled up the 2 hours!
good luck!
