s/o Baby Names

What other baby names do you like on a baby or small child, but have trouble envisioning an adult with someday?

Re: s/o Baby Names

  • A couple that come to mind are Addie and Sophie. I prefer Adelyn and Sophia as the first name and Addie and Sophie as nick names for when they are younger.

  • Tucker. I don't know why but I have a hard time picturing a grown man named Tucker.

  • BUNNY!!

You know my last name Stick out tongue, if we had a baby girl, she would never  be taken seriously!

I was thinking for you.. Do you like Emerson? or Briggs? Or Braun?

  • When I was a kid I thought you had a kid name and got to choose a new adult name when you were older. I thought this because my moms name is Maxine and I couldn't imagine a kid named that, and I couldn't imagine an adult with my name, Amanda.

My name is Amanda also and I never thought of it as an adult name either! Still don't actually Stick out tongue

Haha! When I hear the name Tucker, this image/character from Shallow Hal comes to mind

Lol! That's funny! I would often think of what I was going to rename myself. Wonder what I would have chosen?

    Bunny...hahaha!

For me?  I like Emerson for a girl.  The others are NMS.  I *think* we are going with Zachary Graham, but not 100% yet (though I think in DH's mind it is).

I have trouble envisioning a lot of names on adults, but though I posed the question, I don't want to risk offending anyone here!

Kylie.  DH wanted that for D (if he was a girl) and I just struggled with a 40/60/80 year old Kylie.

this was our girl name if d man was a girl. If this one is a girl I think we will use it, but I have to convince DH a bit.

This is what I was going to say. We have a niece named Kylie, so we wouldn't use it anyway, but I just can't see an adult named Kylie.  Also Shelby.

  • Sadie and Kaylee/Kayleigh/Kylie, etc. I love the name Sadie, not a fan of Kaylee etc., but don't see them being very professional sounding someday.
