Last time, we were Team Green. Knowing the sex is SO fun. Ever since we found out on Christmas, I have bought almost everything we need for little guy's nursery, a travel, oh, the places you'll go theme. I put everything on pinterest and shopped around at stores to find cheaper prices for what we decided that we wanted.

Love it! Anyone else already shopping? Anyone know their plans for the nursery?

I'm actually having a hard time planning for this little guy because as it currently sits, he has to share a room with his brother. We start the addition hopefully in March. So, I have no idea what to get or do.

I'm glad that you are having fun shopping, though. I didn't remember that you were team green in April11.

we are doing an animal/african safari theme! i love it! It's different from most because we are not doing the seemingly popular "baby animals" but its more animal prints. We don't find out the sex until january but I know I will want this theme regardless. the colors are browns, greens, teal, coral, yellow.

I just started thinking about the nursery. I dont really have a theme. The walls are light grey. I want to stay with the grey/black/white color scheme we have going throughout the rest of the house. I like black and white gingham so Im thinking about that for crib sheets and covering the window seats. Any creative ideas ladies??

We are in an apartment, so not a lot of room and not able to paint or anything. DH seems really attracted to sealife (turtles, etc) when we are out looking at stuff. But I'll also see what I get at the shower. I'm not really committed to doing an actual theme or having things connected.

I was supposed to find out the sex on Dec 18, but the baby was stubborn and his it's little butt. I think im going to do gray and white with elephants. It's pretty gender neutral but in case we don't find out until delivery. I already bought the fabric half off with a coupon too lol I just want to buy cute clothes now

We just found out we're team pink this weekend. I asked to see what ideas my hubby has been looking at so I could get on board, (I tried not to look at gender related anything until we knew what it was) and he said I couldn't see. He wants to surprise me. He's so cute and Of course I'm a control freak, lol so it's gonna kill me.

I just painted the nursery last night! It's a silvery gray color (Benjamin Moore Moon Shine). We are going to do navy blue and orange accents. I already have the sheets, and I have been scouring fabric stores for ideas for making the curtains and bed skirt. We are also getting our glider this weekend. I'm going to repurpose an old dresser for the changing table, and then we just need the crib (still trying to decide on that). It's exciting and scary that it's starting to come together.

I also have everything on Pinterest. Love Pinterest!

All my stuff is on pinterest too! I actually was pinning boy AND girl ideas before we knew, but now that we are team blue (woo hoo!) we've decided on a "woodland" theme - sage green walls with white birch tree decals, and little animal accents (bunnies, owls, etc). I have about 20 paint chips taped up on the wall right now.

We have just begun to get some things. I think I'm keeping the walls plain and just going to make our nursery fun with accessories. I don't want it to be too busy but rather easy and calming on the eyes for our little one. I've read that too many bright colours is unsettling for the baby. Could be nonsense but being a psych grad I know that colours do affect our mood.

im control freak and a huge planner so after we found out LO was a boy at 15 weeks we had everything purchased within the following 2 weeks. DH found a monster theme he loved and I loved how excited he was when he saw it so thats our theme. I wanted to wait till after my a/s on the 18th to make sure he was healthy and still a boy before we set everything up. After we found out everything was ok we set up and finished his room before Christmas. Im just waiting on hand painted letters for his name to put on the wall and we are done!

I started nursery planning over the weekend and have been obsessed ever since! Found a wonderful refurbed dresser/changing table that is perfect. We are doing the gray/yellow theme which seems to be popular, but we hope to add our own touches with some giraffe and robin's egg blue. I just bought the fabric to make baby boy's quilt today. We did alligators with DS1, and this time around I wanted it to be a little less themed, a little more DIY. Thanks, Pinterest!

We are team pink and our theme is black, white and yellow Parisian. There are eiffel towers and a steel Arc de Triomphe. I have been stealing ideas from pinterest and doing lots of DIY things. I bought cardboard letters for her name and decorated them to put up vertically on the wall. My goddaughter helped pick out all the scrapbook paper I used on the letters and my MIL is helping me sew accessories. A dear friend gave leftover accessories from her single days. I'm pretty excited about the whole thing and glad to have accents and touches from people who love us.

Im continuing my black/white/grey theme too. I have accents of green in my bedroom and that where this LO will be nesting for a bit. Luckily its a big room so I have to figure out how to dedicate one wall to arrange all Lo's things. Doing a tree theme and oainting one wall green, but not starting for a while.

We dont know the sexes yet. But I am really digging the elephant theme. They will each have their own room, and if its 2 boys, 2 girls, or 1 of each, I have found great elephant stuff for both sexes.
