Too bad the poll doesn't work...

If you have 2 or more children already (or you have one and are pregnant again), did it take the same amount of time to get pregnant as the first time?

Example: It took us 5 months to get pregnant with DS1, and I am curious if I'll most likely get pregnant that quickly again, or if it will be a longer or shorter time.

I wish the poll worked.

    Wow! Congrats! We are going to start trying in April (If we get pregnant on the first try, DS1 will be 15 months older than the new baby). If it takes longer, I don't think I'll be too upset; I just would rather have our children closer than 3 years apart, but no less than a year or so.

    My first three were all conceived in the first month trying. This time we're on month 4 (with different husband, so there's that though). But my sis got pregnant with her first in 3 months and then it took 7 years to get second one. So there's no way to predict. Good luck!

    My first (10 years ago) was an oops as I was 18 & not trying. #2 took 2+ years trying & 2 losses. #3, I got my IUD out & found out a month later it worked.

    My first was 2 cycles. Still TTC a second for over 2 years now. How is that for both ends of the continuum?

    No, With our first we were having unprotected sex for about 2 years before getting pregnant. With our second we were using condoms. One time we didn't and BAM.. Pregnant! lol

    Well I have three kids, two pregnancies. DD was unplanned so I have no idea. We tries for 3 cycles the second time and got two babies. So no really advice here! It's luck of the draw so to speak.

    3 cycles with ds and 5 cycles with this one (and a chemical pregnancy at 3 cycles).

    First time with each of my pg's but going on to month 5 this time around. Women's fertility starts declining after age 27 and I had my first 3 when I was a lot younger. Just temp and use opk's and dtd during the "best" times in the month. GL!
