Mild pain question

I am having mild yet persistent pain on my lower right side. Right above the hip bone and pubic bone. I don't remember this symptom with my first at all. Should I put a call into the obs office?

Re: Mild pain question

  • I had/ still have that pain. It feels like mild cramps, right? It's your uterus expanding for baby : I just went to my OB on weds and explained this pain to her and she said totally normal. Give your OB a call if it puts you at ease but know they'll say it's fine if there is no spotting. God bless!

  • OP, I've been having exactly what you described. I believe it is just our bodies making room/adjustments for the baby. I know it's hard not to worry though.

  • It could be just the baby and your body is making adjustments. I had that pain with my first and it ended up being a cyst. By the end of the 1st tri though that pain was gone.

  • I've heard that if the pain is in one side, it's worth a call to the doctor just to rule out ectopic precgancy. Most likely just growing pains though but better to just call and ask about it.

  • I had pains on my one side when preg with my first an had to have an early US just to rule out ectopic pregnancy. It was perfectly normal and just where my uterus was stretching and growing but is defo worth getting checked out x
