Thoughts? I'm not a fan of Penny but do love the name Penelope.

    Love and love the nickname Nelly. Kourtney Kardashian just named her little girl Penelope, but hopefully the whole family will fade by the time it matters.

    This kid may not have a lot of bowel, but he has plenty of guts! 
    DS born at 34 weeks with (surprise!) gastroschisis turned short bowel syndrome.
    131 days in the NICU, 7 trips to the OR, G-button, daily TPN....
    We are impatiently awaiting the day we can say goodbye to his girlfriend Ivy for good.

    I love the name, but I am starting to hear it all the time. I predict it will make the biggest jump on the SSA list this year.

    I don't like it personally.  My uncle wanted to name my cousin Penelope and everyone still laughs about it (she is 26).  She is so happy her mom didn't let him name her that.  With that being said, there are a lot worse names out there that you could name her

    Love Penelope.  It is SIL's name and there is a Greek nickname "Po-pee" but she also goes by Penny

    I like the name but it has just become too popular since that Kartrashian named her kid that.

    I think it is pretty.
    Began TTC #1 in January 2011
    Confirmation and Removal of Endo - March 2012
    +#1 on 4/1/12 - m/c @ ~8w 5d
    +#2 Tx cycle 4 - 5 mg Letrozole + 75iu Follsitim & Ovidrel w/ IUI on 11/13/12 - EDD 7/23/13 
    7 week u/s revealed THREE babies, all with heartbeats.  153bpm, 148bpm, and 136bpm
    9 week u/s revealed loss of Baby B.  A and C are growing on track.  A measuring 9w1d with 172bpm and C measuring 9w0d with 179 bpm.  
    Elective sex determination u/s on 2/8 revealed... boy AND girl!

    I like it, and I also like Penny.  But since it was my family cat's name growing up, it wouldn't work for us.
