1. I got M a little boy cabbage patch doll. When he unwrapped it, he laid his head down on the box to give it loves. He kept saying "oh my baby, my baby" heart melted!
2. DH and M got me a necklace with a huge pink sapphire in it! It's totally not my style, but they were both so proud and I love it.
3. My dad built M a huge sand box and put a digger in it. M loves it! We even went out and moved snow in it yesterday!
4. My parents got me a gift card to great clips. I've only been there once and I hated my hair. I'm not sure what I'll do with it!

I went all out on my aunt's gift. (I pulled her name in our exchange) But we don't have that Christmas till Sunday. I even wrapped all her stuff in seperate boxes because she loves having the biggest pile of gifts.

I got a new lens for my DSLR from my mom. I knew I was getting it but didn't anticipate it in the size package I was openeing. I did the whole "WOAH! My Lens!!!!!" sqeal because it surprised me, lol.
3. What was LO's favorite gift, and who was it from?
Pots and pans from my mom. He opened it first and immediately wanted to play with it. He ugly cried while I was trying to open and get the stuff out! And then he ignored everyone the rest of gift opening and just played chef.
4. Any wacky gifts or stories?
My MIL got me corn on the cob trays ...
I asked for like 5 different maternity sweaters. I got one long sleeve tshirt and corn trays?
1. What was the favorite gift you GAVE someone, and who? What was their reaction?
My grandma and her photo throw blanket. She thought it was awesome, and said she had no idea "they could do such a thing" lol.
2. What was the favorite gift you RECEIVED, and who was it from? What was your reaction?
DH, hands down. He created a photo book for me of our relationship up until now (spanning 8 years). Photos, narration, a sweet dedication, everything. I cried!!! He also got me a blank journal that said was for him to randomly write notes in for me (things he's thinking about, memories, etc). Holy romance!
3. What was LO's favorite gift, and who was it from?
I don't really know if he had a favorite gift. He liked things as he opened them, but I think he was so overwhelmed he just didn't know what to do. He prefered climbing on all the boxes lol.
4. Any wacky gifts or stories?
Nope, none. Everyone's really good at putting thought into our gifts.

We made decorative plates for the grandparents with L and my nephew's footprints in a "mistleTOES" theme. My mom gave us the "Awww! Precious grand babies!" response, I know she loved it.

A BFP!
I guess you could say it was from H. He also got me a camera which was a close second.

She got the L&L picnic basket from my SIL which she really seems to like. We got her a Little Tikes picnic table and she likes climbing on top of it.

My MIL spoiled me. She got me a Kindle Fire HD. She said it is a Christmas and birthday combo gift since my birthday is a week away. I cried.

MIL gave us all her stuff for the boys to go under the tree... She got him Scout and he LOVES that puppy.
4. Any wacky gifts or stories?
Usually the wacky gifts come from the side of the family we haven't seen yet.

2. H got me a new journal. I'm shocked he heard me the one miniscule time I said I needed one soon. Its got a cheesy image on it but I don't care!
3. O is loving his tunnel from my mom, the tent from us and the play broom and mop from my brother.
4. ILs always put the oddest things in stockings and usually all from a dollar store type place. And they always get me comfy lounge type pants that are too big on me.

We made plates for my mom and MIL. They say Chistmas Cookies and have C's footprint that we made into a reindeer. MIL cried and said she couldn't have gotten anything better.
I didn't get much this year. DH and I didn't exchange gifts because we bought a new tv a couple months ago because we are refinishing our basement so we didnt want to spend any more money. MIL gave me cash though, which went straight onto my Visa whih helps me out a lot.
MIL gave C a sled for Christmas. I have to work today but DH took her out on it and said she had fun. Other than that, she seems pretty indifferent about everything. She plays with her new stuff just as much as her old stuff.
I opened MIL's gift on Christmas Day. DH, BIL, SIL and I all went in on 2 nights at a bed and breakfast for her and her husband. SIL put the gift certificate and the brochure in a big envelope, and BIL set it on the coffee table beside me. I assumed it was for Cara because he had piled all her gifts in front of me, so I started to open it and he yelled, "that's not for you!" So I don't ruin the surprise for them but it was kind of awkwardly funny.

1. What was the favorite gift you GAVE someone, and who? What was their reaction? My parents bought a new van this year for when they have L and my nephew. It's a 2003 but the newest vehicle they've ever owned, and they're so proud of it. We got them 5 free car wash/dry certificates and some Armorall protectant wipes for it. They loved it!
2. What was the favorite gift you RECEIVED, and who was it from? What was your reaction? Probably season 5 of Big Bang Theory from my BIL.
3. What was LO's favorite gift, and who was it from? My mom got her some Garanimals Pop up Blocks. They were one of the only gifts that we had to play with right away when she opened them. She also loved her Little Tykes rocking horse from her uncle.
4. Any wacky gifts or stories? My brother made L a funny but inappropriate shirt that she'll never wear in public. He made one for my nephew too.
