Can I be an AW over DH's Christmas present?

Dh always messes up presents.  He usually gets some kind of bad advice from a friend or decides that I said I did not want a present.  That is crazy, I always want presents.  I plainly told him that if he did not get me a Christmas present when I was 7 1/2 months pregnant that I would smother him with his pillow while he slept.

The only thing that I really really wanted on our registry was the baby book and the memory box.  After he gave it to me, I asked him if he knew that.  He did not but he got me that plus a necklace with the baby's name and her birthstone on it.  He even made arrangements to have the birthstone switched if she is a February birthday rather than our March 2 plan.  It is not often that he gives me a gift that makes me cry.  He did well.

    I also have to laugh at the smothering thing. I can't even tell you how many times I thought about doing that to DH while he was snoring away and I was lying there wide awake with insomnia my entire pregnancy!

    I had to go to work today because I don't want to waste days that could be used for maternity leave.  DH can't work any more this year because he has too much leave time left over and still gets 12 weeks paid time off when the baby comes (4 paternity leave and the rest vacation).  He was snoring away last night while I laid in bed and though if I go to sleep now, I can have 4 hours before I have to get up then I can have 3 hours if I fall asleep now until I got to 1 1/2 hours.  He had the nerve to say to me, boy I am glad you got a good nights sleep last night.  If he would not have had a bagle for me in his hand, I might have punched him.  He is lucky that I was worried the bagle would fall on the floor.

    Aww what a great surprise and such sweet gifts.  I'm glad he stepped it up this year for you :)  Don't mess with a pregnant woman lol.
