Alright, ladies. I'm always curious as to the gifts/toys that do the best in our baby age group. Plus, it gives me ideas for April birthday presents that are coming up pretty soon.
So, what were some of the greatest hits for your April babies - what did they love the best?
Re: Holiday Toy/Gift Round Up!
Little Bean favored her toy piano from Target the most:

She also loved this baby accessory set and has been playing with her doll and these little things non-stop.

The wooden alphabet and number magnets are also really popular in the kitchen (she puts them on the fridge an dishwasher) and let me get some cooking and dishes done.

She also got some books, coloring books and crayons, M&D chunky puzzles, and a small keyboard from walmart that I can't find on their website, but here she is playing with it.
We had so much fun with DS this year! I loved seeing him have a blast with family and friends and get excited about his presents. His favorites were the Melisa & Doug Cutting Food Set, Pulse Drums and Step 2 Play Kitchen.
We also added a new tradition...Every year Jack will pick out a present or two for a boy his age and donate it to a local toy drive. He didn't understand it this year, but hopefully in the future he'll enjoy it as much as DH and I did.
This is an awesome tradition. We may have to start that with Chase next year.
Liam seems to like everything. We decided not to do the drum set until later. Instead, for his "big gift," he got a tricycle. Unfortunately, it's still a bit big for him to reach the pedals just right, but he scoots it throughout the house. He got little hot wheels cars in his stocking and carries them everywhere. And I got him a little plastic wagon and put toys from the dollar store in it (plastic food, little spatulas, and an apron).
He seems to play with everything about equally
On the one hand, I feel bad that I bought him "cheap crap," but on the other hand, he's thrilled with the $9 I spent at Dollar Tree.
Mac and cheese lover!
