Oh... My.... God.

I have been doing half BM, half soy formula. DS didn't poop for like 2 days which isn't much different from before. I didn't hear him poop, but when I picked him up I could smell it. So bad!

Then I opened his diaper. I almost puked. It was scary. I want yellow seedy poop back! It was brown with maybe a tint of green, a little watery, but harder to wipe off than his old poop. What does normal FF baby poop look like?

Elijah is on Gerber Gentle and his poop is smooth and army green. When he's hardcore teething, it gets yellowish and gritty.

Formula poop STINKS!!! And its a little thicker. Its probably still watery since there's some BM in there. Why did you decide to start giving formula? You're not pumping anymore? (not sure if you posted, but if you did I must have missed it)

I had cut down my pumping to 3x a day because I never had time to do anything, and was getting what he needed for the day plus maybe 5oz extra. Then it was so inconvenient for me to pump at work so I cut down to 2x. I wasn't making as much, and after I had a cold I couldn't get my supply up again. I am now only pumping in the morning. I get about 9oz. My freezer stash is almost gone so I'll be doing more formula than BM very soon.

Well... soy formula poop is different than regular formula. When DS first switched to soy he went from pooping 5-6x a day to he went a day and a half without pooping. It was (and still is) god-awful smelling, but he poops regularly once a day now. It stays about the consistency of creamy peanut butter. Occasionally it's a little drier/firmer and we remedy that with about an ounce of prune juice in his next bottle.

When did you start to FF? I was wondering if he is full longer now. He Waa eating like clockwork every 3 hours during the day. Today its starting to be further apart. I'm not sure if it is the formula, it maybe he's catching the cold his daddy has.

Its like peanut butter that smells terrible with a touch of green color lol. Formula makes their poop smells so gross it has a certain smell. When he is sick it smells like grown up poop and idk which one is worse. Both yuck.

Thanks for posting this - I could have written all of this. We also just recently switched to 50/50 and the change in his poop is scary. Thank goodness he has his 4 month appt tomorrow so I can ask all my poop related questions
