Trying to Get Pregnant

Any bummers on Christmas?

I'm cd 35 and still no af, which could be a great thing.... so took a few hpts before and on Christmas but didn't get my BFP. bummer! Anybody else test on Christmas to no avail?

Re: Any bummers on Christmas?

  • Not exactly the same situation but I believe I had a chemical pregnancy on Christmas :(.  I got 3 BFP's, the first one being on Saturday which was 2 days before AF was to arrive.  What I think was AF arrived yesterday.  I can tell you that this was the worse feeling, and I will never test again until AF is a few days late. Not to mention DD was around when I got the BFP and spilled the beans to my family.  And I've tried to delete the darn pregnancy ticker several times and it just won't delete. UGH.

  • I was due for AF on Monday. I got nothing so I tested Tuesday, BFN, still, still a BFN today. I am doubtful that I am KU as I have had issues with actually getting AF to visit, but last month seemed to be the first "normal" period that I had in since September. So far in 4 - 28 day cycles I have only had 1 period. I think I am going to start taking my temp so I can tell if I am even ovulating. Frustrating, but trying to keep positive.
  • No BFP here.  Although I have to say that it may have been a little to early.
  • I told myself that I would test Christmas morning if AF didn't show up before then - that would be day 33 from my LMP (would be my longest cycle in 10 months).  Sure enough, AF showed up on Christmas Eve.

If you have only had one period since September, you may have longer cycles. From one period to the next would be a cycle not every 28 days.

Either way - its been 124 days at this point since I stopped BC... its not "normal" in my mind to have only had 1 AF visit. I am thinking I should go see an MD to check things out and make sure everything is OK.
