Baby swings - fussiness fixer?

LO is 7 months old and is usually a super easy happy baby.  He has been fussy this past week, maybe teeth, but who really knows.  It seems that the swing is the only place he is happy.  Put him in and he is talking and happy.  Is that weird?  I feel so guilty just leaving him in there but it seems to be the place he is happiest lately.

  • I'm a firm believer in doing whatever (within reason) works.  DD, who will be 7 months next week, has been using her swing since she was a newborn and it's always a go-to for us when she's cranky and nothing else will work.  In fact, she's swinging away, taking a nap right now!

Do NOT feel guilty about that. If your baby is happy then you're doing something right! My LO used to love his swing but he got too big for it at about 6 months old so we stopped using it.

All of this. I push my son around the house in his stroller for naps if need be. Whatever works.
