Hindsight... ::sigh::

So, Jay and I took turns going to the ILs for a quick visit (see my thread "Illness this time of year").

Not only did both of us get the 24 hour stomach virus, Hank got it too (although he was still throwing up this morning, but seems fine this afternoon).

Otis is safe for now, although he's rocking a MAJOR snotty nose.

Unfortunately, Jay is milking this out. His body hurts and he's got the chills and blah... blah... blah... (can you tell I have no sympathy for the man cold?)

ETA: Jay and I were of the mindset that we shouldn't go, but at the last minute Jay had a change of heart. As soon as his nephew threw up at Jay's parents' house, he called me and gave me a preemptive apology for the illness he figured we'd both get.

Booooo. Stomach viruses are the worst. I also have zero sympathy for man colds. Take some Tylenol and buck up, I say.

Oh no! I hope Otis doesn't get it!

We had the stomach virus just a couple weeks ago. It was terrible. Ofcourse, dh milked it for a week. I was back up and at it the next morning.

No, no grape juice trick. I don't even know what that is... I'll google it.

And, FTR, Otis just started vomiting. Hopefully this is over quickly for him.

It's too late now. Sorry, next time you're exposed to a stomach bug, do not pass go, do not collect 200, go straight to the store and buy some 100 percent grape juice. Make your family drink 3 glasses the first day and a glass a day every day thereafter.

Grape juice, as long as its 100 percent, the good dark stuff, kills stomach viruses.

I thought I maybe said something in your last thread. Maybe I didn't explain it well.

Oh no, that's awful! We finally pulled out of the illness just in time for Christmas....and then my entire family (parents & siblings) started throwing up on Christmas Eve. It was so bad. Hope you guys are feeling better soon!
