Thanks everyone for your replies to my post about my DD and our hospital stay. Well, follow up: we got discharged from the hospital on Tuesday, with the thought that she would eat better at home. The first day she did okay no food, but 11 oz of BM. The next day, 3 oz and only 1 wet diaper all day. We had a blizzard, so we had to take an ambulance back to the er, and have been back in the hospital since yesterday with RSV and an ear infection, on top of still recovering from the gastro bug. They stopped the IV at noon, and it has been slow going getting fluids in her. Only 4 oz so far of BM. Talking tubes now if she doesn't improve. On one hand, I have been kinda hoping for this because our struggles with her eating are so high, but I have heard that things with tubes are difficult with dependence, infections, reflux..... Anyone that can chime in? I am doing all of this basically by myself, because besides having my husband needing to take care of DS, he also got hit with the bug, and, due to the blizzard, can't make it to the hospital yet.
Tell me this gets easier!
I am so grateful that the nurses and doctors are so knowledgable and personable; they are my support and are so wonderful!

Thanks S-Tuna!
We are back home and she is back at daycare, doing well so far. Very stressful holiday season- hope to never have to do it again!
