Happy Birthday to the God of Creation who chose to be born of a woman, a Jewish baby born in Palestine, who taught us how to stand in solidarity with the poor, oppressed, and marginalized; who taught us to include the unincluded and welcome the unwelcome; who loved and stood up for those cast aside by society; who was a revolutionary who stood up to an oppressive sociopolitical and socioeconomic system; who stood up to religious authorities who were more concerned about their own power; who was more concerned with putting the last first...who taught us how to partner with Him to advance the kingdom of heaven, and who died for us on a cross so that our sins would be forgiven, and we could be in relationship with God our father.

Happy Birthday Jesus! Merry Christmas Everyone!
