Testes Tuesday Holiday Edition

So we are redoing our flooring for Christmas and we currently have 1000 square feet of laminate flooring sitting in the living room. I developed a timeline as to how we could get this done before DH has to go back to work on Jan. 6. Of course, nothing is working out like it was supposed to and we have been doing the holiday family thing.

DH just informed me that he was going to go out with some of his friends tomorrow afternoon. I signed DD up for daycare so he could work in the house not go out with his friends. Normally, it wouldn't be that big of a deal, but I would really like to have this project completed oh.... Before I have to kids running around the house... And DH isn't the best at finishing projects.

    If this were me I would be telling DH that he had to finish it before he went back to work, his problem, and if it wasn't finished he would be working overtime so I could hire a contractor - his choice.  But that's me.

    Kind of a bummer. I'd still be giving him some kind of ultimatum that if he doesn't get it done he's figuring out how to hire someone to do it BEFORE baby #2 or he will be doing it while you stay in a hotel.

    Men just don't think the same as we do, and he probably thinks he has plenty of time and it's NBD if he waits, furthermore our timelines mean nothing to them. :/ Men.
