know-it-all family members...pfft

I announced LO2 to my family tonight, and my brother and SIL already thought I was pregnant since I posted on FB 6 weeks ago asking about washing/storing baby clothes. That post had nothing to do with LO2, but apparently the only reason anyone would keep clothes and not get rid of them is because they are already expecting another baby. Pfft.

At least it was fun for my mom.

    Yeah, that is pretty dumb. We kept everything of Xander's, not because I was pregnant already but, because we knew we were eventually going to have another one.

    Some people like to make everything about themselves. "Oh yeah, I already knew cuz I'm so smart." LOL! Glad your mom had fun, though!!

    Gotta love it!

    I'm NOT pg but I did come down with some kind of bug yesterday. And my family started questioning me about whether I was KU again because I was feeling sick to my stomach and not eating any cookies.

    Huh? So according to your brother and SIL, if you were planning on having another LO but weren't pregnant yet, you wouldn't want to put baby clothes away? What would you do with them then?

    Glad you mom at least enjoyed the announcement

    Lame! I guess that means we don't want more kids, because we got rid of everything? Nothing at all to do with the fact that for most of Stella's life, we were in an 830 sqft apartment. LOL! Glad your mom enjoyed it though, Grandma's opinion matters waayyyy more!

    On SIL's side, they have a bunch of girls, with my nieces being the oldest and youngest. They pass all of the clothes bewteen them, so that's how they get rid of their stuff. They'd more or less get it all back if/when they had another.

    I pointed out that I asked the same question when DS was really young, and no one assumed back then that it meant pregnancy.

    And Kimbus, make sure to watch what you're drinking since the water around here still seems to be teeming with BFPs Wink

    Ugh, some people are so lame!  At least your mom enjoyed the surprise.  Baby news anytime is great, but Christmas makes it a little extra special :)
