How did you know you were pregnant?

If you got pregnant without having a PP period, how did you know you were pregnant?  Between DD and DS, I had one period then got pregnant again at 9months pp.  DS is almost 10months and I haven't had a period yet.  I'm insanely paranoid that I could be pregnant again.

    Lurker answer: I took a pregnancy test a week until my first postpartum period came back. Now that my cycle is back (despite exclusively breast feeding), I'm tracking my cycle. Hopefully I'll be joining this board soon. (Okay, I'll go back into hiding now.)
    Mommy to N (3), J (2), and C (10 months). LO4 is due in mid-September.

    When I started going to the bathroom in the middle of the night...I was thinking hmmm, I only do this when I'm pregnant. Sure enough!

    I had stopped BFing and a month later still no AF. But I was having lots of cramps so I thought it was on its way. I took a test anyway, and BFP!

    My hips started hurting when I was sleeping. That was my first symptom with DD. DH didn't believe me, said there was no way...but voila! :)

    I was like you. I had one ppp and then that was it. I had a HUGE appetite surge that made me test, and it was positive. Was in total shock due to our IF history, but was so intune with my body I caught it really early.

    I'd only had one period PP despite having stopped BFing 6 months before. We were actively trying, though, so I took a test. I don't remember my first symptom... It was probably my insane sense of smell and lack of appetite.

    I stopped BFing at 8.5 months and was waiting for my period to come back.  When it still hadn't 3 months later, I took a pregnancy test.  It was positive, and when they did the ultrasound to date the pregnancy, I was almost 12 weeks, so I must have gotten pregnant about 2 weeks after I stopped nursing!  I had no symptoms.

    I got preg without a pp period. I knew because for several days I felt like I was going to get my period...cramping, etc, but it never came. I took a test, and it was positive. My OB said the cramping I was feeling was most likely ovulation.
