So DD just had a birthday so she got clothes, rockin' ridin' pony, vtech and leapfrog toys, and a powerwheels(which she can;t use because she doesn't reach lol) so I don't know what to get her for xmas. We have tons of books and she's not interested in them right now. Like what do you get a 1 year old who gets distracted so quickly?

Re: Christmas gifts?
Since birthday and Christmas are so close together, we plan to get our son some summer toys, like a spash/sand center, some beach toys, or maybe a bubble lawn mower. We'll put them away after his birthday in January, then bring them out in spring/summer and it'll be like another birthday for him!
He is very easily distracted as well, and finds little interest in toys. However he loves playing drums on pots and pans, bowls, wooden spoons, and other household gadgets. His latest fascination is UNO cards, he loves throwing them around haha!
That actually sounds like a good idea. Both my kids don't really have much summer toys just the powerwheels cars and DS has a bike. Which I thought about getting DD one for xmas. I'm going to get clothes and shoes in bigger sizes now I just want to get something fun too since clothes isn't really fun for her just yet lol
For his Bday (6 days before Christmas) he is getting a Kawasaki power wheel ATV.
For Christmas we got him foam blocks, truck, hammer toy, bath toys, toy tv remote, blanket, book about his disability (he was born with club foot and someone wrote a children's book about it-it's a night time story about wearing his boots (braces)).
For Christmas, we are getting DS toys, books, and things we'll need for the next year (spoons, plates, cups, etc). For his birthday, he will be getting seasonal clothes for next fall/winter. I figure his 1st birthday/Christmas is more for us than for him. And since we have to get this stuff anyway, why not wrap it up for a Christmas/birthday gift?
