Anyone still suffering with morning sickness?!

I'm 13 weeks now and still suffering as much as I have been with the whole morning sickness! I'm ready to be done with this. I have had really bad morning sickness severe morning sickness and this is my first pregnancy. I wonder if anyone still battling with their morning sickness.

Re: Anyone still suffering with morning sickness?!

  • my nausea doesn't seem to have gotten any better.  I haven't puked from it yet, but it makes my day working with the public really suck.  I have to constantly make sure I know where the closest trashcan is.

  • Yup, I'm a little over 15 weeks and still puking. The last couple of days have been awful. This cold I have isn't helping at all either.

  • I'm not as sick as I was, but I'm still sick.  I hope it goes away soon.  Having a little relief is helping me though.  It got worse before it started to get better.  Hope you feel better soon.  I had no idea pregnancy was going to be like this.  I can't imagine how people have like 6 kids.  They must not really have morning sickness like us!

  • I am 15 weeks and still battle nausea at night, but it is becoming more infrequent. I know that I need to be hydrated well and eating mini meals throughout the day.
I sure hope you're over this shortly! Good Luck to you!

  • You are not the only one! I am 13 weeks today, and not only has my morning sickness not gone away, but it's gotten worse over the past week. It did lessen a bit around week 11, but came back full force plus some during week 12. I'm hoping there is an end in sight!!!
  • I was still horribly sick at 13 weeks. Like on all 4's in the bathroom crying because of how much I was throwing up sick. Then at 14 weeks it WENT AWAY! Not gradual at all! Just like a switch went off. I hope you ladies find some relief soon, I hated being sick like that!
  • Yep.  I found that if I sleep better at night then the sickness is not so bad.  But if I get a crapy night sleep then it is pretty bad still and I am 15 weeks.  But my DD keeps me up a lot so my sleep is pretty terriable.  Lots of times too the ms is also cooralated with headaches.

  • It took me until about 14 weeks to feel better. Hopefully the end is in sight!

  • I'm 15 weeks and a couple of days, I feel pretty good most of the time, but many nights I still have nausea and severe heartburn after dinner until I go to bed. It still sucks, but I'm at least feeling better during the daytime. The best combination for me every night is: Loratidine, Zofran, Zantac, and a cup of vanilla soy milk. Whenever I feel really sick, I remind myself of Drea and her pump. There are moms who have it 100x worse...

Hope everyone gets some relief soon!

  • Yep. I'm almost 15w and still nauseous and gagging quite a bit, all day long. I've had some better days but still need Zofran at least once every day.

It didn't start to get better with DD until 18w. And ditto pp about thinking of the HG moms when I feel pukey. It could be much worse and last much longer...I really feel for those mamas.

  • I am 16 weeks tomorrow, and if I don't take my Zofran, then I am puking all day. This nasty cold that I have is not helping at alll because there is so much extra mucous, which causes me to gag, which causes me to throw up. I cannot wait for it to end!

  • I'm 16 weeks and still have all day sickness.  I've been on Zofran since week 6 and it still isn't helping me much.  I was sick the entire 9 months with DD, so I'm assuming it is going to be the same this time around.  Hopefully it lets up for you soon.

  • Although it's not as bad, I still get sick. Actually this morning my breakfast suddenly came up. My mom had NO sickness at all with either of her 2 pregnancies. Guess I'm not that lucky.

  • Yep, still have it at 14 weeks, sick a few times a day. I take zofran which hasn't been helping much and now I can't decide if its indigestion/heartburn  thats making it all worse.

hoping we all feel better very soon!!

  • I spoke too soon. I'm having the word day I've had in weeks. I'm so nervous about having to get in the car and go to visit family for Christmas and Christmas Eve! We have to drive between an hour and 2 hours multiple times. And we're telling our families about the baby. I hope I don't spend the day puking and feeling terrible tomorrow. And I hope you all don't either!

  • My nausea is gone but my gag reflex is still out of control, so I puke every couple days from that.

  • I have felt nauseous on and off for several weeks, like I could throw up but never did. I just threw up for the first time yesterday afternoon though. It just hit me all of a sudden, and there was not stopping it. I'll be 15 weeks on Wednesday. I hope it goes away soon.

  • I feel like my vomiting  is getting worse.  The plus side is at least now I can eat some so at least I don't feel empty 24/7.

  • My morning sickness was beyond bad. It was uncontrollable. I couldn't keep anything down so I got dehydrated . Doctor gave me zofran through an IV. BEST THING EVER. They then prescribed me the zofran that just melts on your tongue. Works so good and so fast. Ask your doctor about it!

I'm also 13 weeks and have not had any relief yet. I do still vomit at least a few times a week and feel nausous all the time. Its horrible but you're not alone.
I'm still feeling like this at 17 weeks.

*raises hand* ME!  The pattern has been a slow downward spiral into nausea as the afternoon and evening goes on.  By 8:00PM I am in the fetal position in bed willing myself not to hurl.  It's awful.
Same for me - i'm in bed by 8pm every night - I don't even feel well enough to lie on the couch and watch tv. Ready for the next stage please!
