Anyway, they were worried he might have an intestinal issue but thankfully his intestines looked great.

Nobody has mentioned discharge. Poor baby is miserable. Rough night listening to so many babies in pain.

Oh no. My heart is so sad for you. Hospital overnights are hard. Try to get a break soon. Go get some fresh fruit and a coffee. Deep breaths, check in with people, walk a few laps. You are surrounded by people who are going to take care of Lincoln. Don't forget to take a little time for you today too.

Can you ask about discharge? I would ask what "the plan" is as far as testing, care and discharge.

How is Lincoln feeling today?

Hang in there and good luck!nbsp; I hope LO recovers quickly!nbsp; I agree w/ what Tuna said, don't be afraid to ask them to share their plan of action with you!nbsp; With shift changes and generally hospital business, it's best to be inquisitive.

Oh trust me, I am VERY inquisitive! Care here is excellent. They can't give a specific discharge plan because they aren't positive what's wrong. They think it is viral so we are in isolation. We need to see how he acts.
