So I am making a list of food to stock up on for the first week or two that I am home with LO. I will be alone, and know I am going to be too tired to be cooking 3 meals a day. Any suggestions on easy to prepare foods that you have been eating while BFing LO? I know someone mentioned trail mix in an old post, but I can't find it to see if there were any more good ideas. TIA.

I agree! I've been eating oatmeal daily. If you're not able to cook, I also recommend stoffers frozen entrees as they are made with pretty natural ingredients and super easy to heat up.
Thankfully, DH has been home to cook, but I've been doing mostly snacking between a bigger breakfast (eggs, bacon/sausage and tortillas) and dinner. We've had pop tarts and chocolate covered almonds (making up for having GD!) and granola bars.
I have frozen meals for lunches and dinners too (I just stocked up from the grocery store), as well as sandwich making supplies.
Totally agree! You can make it interesting by adding dried fruit, nuts, granola, chocolate chips, etc.
I've stocked my freezer with muffins, mini meatloaves I've already baked in muffin tins, and crockpot bags. Google crockpot freezer cooking and you'll get all sorts of recipes. Toss the raw meat, veggies, sauces and seasonings all in the bag in the freezer. The day you want one of these meals, thaw for 30 minutes then cook on low for 8 hours. I also stocked up on frozen pizza and lasagna.
My fridge has loads of cheese and yogurt too! Yogurt and frozen fruit makes a great snack.
The pantry is full of crackers and granola bars, and I have a box of granola bars and bottled water next to my glider in the nursery.
I just learned this the other day, and I can say that my supply has been pretty awesome so far. I've had oatmeal nearly every day, mixed with some brown sugar and cinnamon or dried cranberries.
I'd stock up on things that are easy to make: PBJ, scrambled eggs, etc.. This time around the LC at the hospital suggested taking probotics either via vitamin or yogurt daily to help regulate things. I agree w/the oatmeal.
Make sure you are drinking enough water more than anything! Dehydration can effect your supply greatly!!
