That's a really good idea, Empire. The humane society isn't far from our house, maybe I'll run some by.
I gave our mailman a giftcard to a local coffee place. I've never given a letter carrier a gift before. It felt nice to let someone who does a service for us know they are appreciated.

I went and bought gifts for a family with 4 boys who weren't going to get Christmas! They are now getting gifts each, plus SANTA is delivering them on Christmas eve! They are 8,7,21! The oldest has downs syndrome and the parents are in a very rough place! I even got a in house date night for the parents! I'm so excited for them, I can't wait to see their faces!

My girlfriends and I do a Christmas get together and Secret Santa every year. We do it at the same girl's house every year because they have the most space and no kids. I bought the hostess a bottle of wine today even though I don't have her for Secret Santa. Her I had a falling out when I was pregnant and are slowly making our way back to good terms so I thought this would be an extra nice gesture to thank her for always hosting.
I also baked cookies this morning and took them into work to share with my coworkers.

Although I have nothing of my own to share, I heard a news story this morning that made me think of this thread!
Apparently, there have been a slew of "Layaway Angels" paying off people's gifts. There's a Kmart in NC that has had 18... and that's just one store! So, one day a person still owes $80 on their items and the next day they're getting a call notifying them that the bill has been paid and they can come pick up their items! I thought that was great!

Mine are food related...go figure.
Earlier this week I made oreo balls and brought them in for the other 7th grade teachers at lunch.
Today I bought OJ and donuts for one of my classes who met their no missing assignments goal.
