On average, about how many books are you reading your LO per week? And when? Before bed? During the day when you have time?
I was reading to Gator before bed until about a month ago when she started going crazy wanting to rip pages. Now I am a slacker. We still get in about five books a week, but I have to read them to her when she is sitting in her chair eating so she cannot attack the pages.
Re: Reading...
I want to point out none of these are War and Peace or anything, his favorite book is called farm animals and it's pictures of adult and baby animals, so it doesn't take long to read. And I want to encourage reading, so no matter what we're doing, when LBB brings us a book we stop and read to him.

I probably read 3-5 books per day to DD. However we don't always get through every book, because in the middle she will get bored and go get another book and bring that one over.
My mom watches DD during the day and reads probably 10-15 books per day (she is a retired kindergarten teacher.)
Edited to say. 10 to 12 not 1012
Our collection of board books is on her little bookshelf and by the end of the day every single book has been pulled down usually. Lily will look through most of them at least once during the day and "read" to herself. She also will bring a book over to DH or myself and back up into our lap; sometimes she wants us to read the book (we usually have to read it very quickly as she turns the pages super fast) and sometimes she reads it to herself and just wants to cuddle up to us at the same time. We read one book before bedtime each night. The non-board books are elsewhere (so she can't rip them) and I keep meaning to read her one or two each day, but since they're not as accessible I forget most of the time.
I guess I can't really answer your question about how many books per week. On a daily basis, it's probably between 3 and 50 (with many repeats in there) books that get read to her, plus all the "reading" she does on her own.

This! I can maybe get through 2 pages until he closes it on me, opens it up to a different page, closes it! We try, but for right now he prefers to "read" on his own!
