I teach social studies. I've never done 8th, but I did 6th for 3 years and 7th is infinitely better IMO. They're special little weirdos, but I love em! Well...we'll see how I feel after today/last day of quarter/potential end of world...it could be an interesting day!
Do you plan on going back? We've been thinking about what I'll do when we have a second and I have no clue how it will all work out.

I love that! Special little weirdos! Yes they are!
My certification is SS and science. I don't know what my plan is right now?! I have thought about it over and over. I love being home! But I know they aren't going to need me home forever. I would like to be home and be able to volunteer at school, and be the room mom. I don't know if my DH will agree to me being home while they are in school. I have thought about doing something part time or maybe being a para so that I don't have the responsibility of grading and planning. Or I have thought about doing preschool.
My district was one of the lowest paying ones in the state, so daycare for two was not worth it to us, because I ended up working for a few hundred dollars a month.
