XP: Induction with GD

How far in advance did your OB schedule your induction? Just curious, my next appointment is Christmas Eve and we had discussed scheduling my induction for Jan 8 (due to GD). Was kind of hoping he would schedule it then, but not sure if that is too early.

    Mine said she won't let me go much past my due date. Like maybe by a day or two.

    I am going to try to get labor started on my own before then to avoid the issue.  We'll see.

    Good luck!  And I hope you get to eat whatever you want when it's all over!

    My 38 week check up was Tuesday and my doctor set me up for an induction next week Thursday...he would have done it sooner but with Christmas we have to wait until then.
