I don't have a book either, but I do use those posted websites. Also, I will usually buy a jar, container or pouch of a food from either Gerber or Plum organics and try him on the flavor. And if he likes it, then I will set out to make it myself. So for instance, he likes the Gerber carrot, squash and apple blend. So when I do up those fruits/veggies, I pull some of each out into a bowl together, process them up and go that route.
Take a look at the different blends that they have in pre-made food and base your own recipes from there. Then make your own. One of DS's favorites is pears and strawberries. I just reduce the strawberries on the stove, or steam them up in my steamer (helps to reduce the allergens) along with the pears, process them up and away we go! Plus it has really made it fun for us in making food, and it gets him exposure to all sorts of flavors and textures.

I have been using wholesomebabyfood.momtaststic.com since the beginning. Great site, easy recipe's. highly recommend
Love this site too but I got the book on amazon because I don't get a chance to use my computer too often. It's much of the same information just in a form that I can take anywhere that I am.
