Well, DS had his official 3 month scan at Union Orthodics. His asymmetrical differential started at a 6.2 and is now a 1.2! He has officially been discharged from the helmet! He's met all developmental milestones they look for and the correction they see in him is unbelievable even to them. They said that a 1.2 is more symmetrical than most folks on the planet, he's the youngest (at their facility) that they've released due to such quick correction. Merry Christmas to us!!
Now I worry about him feeling every little ding on the noggin, since he's been protected from it thus far, but we will deal with that in time.
I am so happy, grateful and thankful for all the help from the specialists, Drs. and PTs. Best decision DH and I have made being FT parents. We can finally kiss those chubby cheeks and forehead and run our fingers through his hair...so very cool!
Re: Footloose and Helmet free!!!!

That is awesome!!!
This is probably the best Christmas present for your and your DH! I can't wait for the day my guy gets discharged from the helmet... i can't wait to be able to kiss anywhere on his head that I choose!!
enjoy your holiday with your LO!!
Thank you ladies! It really was all I wanted for Christmas, knowing this appointment was coming up...I was trying so hard not to jinx it and kept telling myself what will be, will be.
And thanks to all the mamas on here that helped so much in the process, sharing their stories and offering support. It's been greatly appreciated!!!
Congratulations! What a wonderful Christmas present! :-)
