Pass some advice on to the rest of us! What do you feel is the one thing every couple must do before they have a baby?

    SLEEP as much as humanly possible, sleep is never the same after having a baby and take a spontaneous weekend getaway trip, even if it is only to the nearest major city

    Take an awesome vacation. Have drinks (if you're not pregnant obviously) and lots of alone time. Get dolled up and go out for nice dinners. Stay up late and sleep in. Be spontaneous. All of those things are really hard to do with a baby around.

    Same - sleep, travel, date nights to every restaurant where you live that you've wanted to try and never have, visit lots of friends and family.

    Make sure finances are in order and make sure insurance issues are ironed out.

    THIS!! Make sure its no older than a month old to get a real idea of what life is like.

     

    And watch it overnight, too! It's easy to take care of a baby when you're well rested and get a good night's sleep. Not so easy when you're running on four hours of broken rest.
