Insatiable Hunger?

I feel hungry all the time, but I can only eat something small or else I feel nauseous. Then, I'm hungry again in an hour! Does anybody else feel like this? Good thing the idea of chocolate repulses me (right now - usually I'm a chocoholic) or I'd be in trouble!! What are some good snacks (besides saltines ... I need like 20 of 'em to feel better) that soothe the stomach?

  • If you find a filling snack please let me know I have the same problem. I was eating a little platter I made when I would get hungry, Apples, grapes, cheese, crackers, pretzels. It didn't end up filling me up. I'm constantly hungry.

  • Soup with crackers is soothing. I also have been eating a lot of Fig Newtons :)

     

  • Someone else posted somewhere that they found peanut butter helped a lot with m/s, and also the high protein helped them stay full longer.

  • It's just hard to say but my theory is if it sounds good eat it.  Luckily this usually goes away.  The other day I HAD to have a cheeseburger from Wendy's.  I only ate about half of it but I felt so much better.  Sometimes I want to eat a whole mango.  It's annoying but I can't concentrate if I am hungry and I don't eat what I want.

  • I really enjoy trail mixes with nuts. Plus it has some protein so you are more satisfied.

  • Peanut butter on bagels.
    Cream Cheese on bagels.

    Even so, I am always hungry. I just drink water usually it has more to do with thirst for me. It does suck to feel like a bottomless pit though.

  • I travel with goldfish and pretzels like it's my job. LOL  Also have had success with pb on whole grain english muffins...which have crazy amounts of fiber!

  • I'm having a really hard time staying on top of my hunger especially since the thought of most foods I used to like gross me out now. I have been eating a lot of english muffins, they seem to soothe my stomach. GL to you!

  • I'm huge on pickles, toast with peanut butter, Popsicles and fries with vinegar and salt right now. I can barely touch meat, it repulses me completely. Hamburger? NO way! Lol
  • I agree, I'm so sick that I feel hungry all the time and that makes me feel more sick! I find that if I can stomach something it's only a few bites so an hour later I need something else! Morning sickness is rough! I finally feel better today and was able to eat a whole slice of pizza for dinnerwoohoo
