I think that little boy clothes are mostly lame. I hate clothes with tractors, basket balls, trucks etc on them. Little girls clothing is so much more fun than boys.
I might be alone on this one, but I really hate the "This." responses on boards. Yeah, ok, typically people extrapolate in their responses, but it's just so annoying to me. Especially when about 3 other people have also said the same exact thing, but you just didn't bother to read their responses...ok, it's out there now, I feel better. NOW DON'T YOU DARE GO AND "THIS." ME ON IT, haha just kidding. Sort of.
Totally agree about boys clothes. I ended up filling his closet with baby Hurley, Quicksilver and Vans clothes. Im not into the cutsy little monkey's and elephants.
The posts about hospital bags are driving me crazy! Some people are packing like they are staying forever, it's 1-3 days. Thats it. You're not moving in!
The Dark Knight Rises was a horrible movie.
That is all.

I love little boy clothes! But you have to shop around more to find the cute stuff and usually spend more too. I hate hate hate the message stuff, and the 'bratty' screen tees etc. And anything that hints at "boys will be boys"... omg no. Please do not excuse impolite behavior, misbehaving etc just because you have a son.
I despise photos of babies with food on their faces, especially if it's a food I can't recognize. Red foods are the worst because it looks like the baby is covered in blood.
I don't understand making an appointment and taking time out of your day and the doctor's day just to go ask a pediatrician some questions. The questions I see people are going to ask can easily be asked and answered by the front desk staff. I just don't get the need to waste the time (mine or the dr.'s). I could go on but I think I might start offending people so I'll just leave it at the fact that I think it's weird!!!

I just can't relate to all these posts of "I'm done being pregnant", "I am miserable", etc. I sympathize because I know a lot are in pain, having complications, etc. but I am just on the total opposite end of the spectrum. I'm comfortable, I feel great, and I still have a lot to do before LO is here. Fully expecting to go past my due date and as of now, 100% fine with it.

Omg that was going to be mine! Haha...it really grosses me out. Why??! Why do people find these cute? If I were a baby and my mother took a pic of me covered in some disgusting food I'd be like "mom, don't you dare put that sh!t on Facebook this is embarrassing." Assuming I'm a baby who can also talk.
I'm willing to bet you will take pics of your LOs the 1st time they eat spaghetti or something messy- and you'll LOVE the picture! It'll remind you how much fun you both were having and it'll bring a smile to your face
That being said, no it's not cute and random friends and Internet strangers will prolly gag at the mystery food smeared all over your kid! It's a picture only a mother/father could love.

I agree on the boy clothes. Unless you want to spend high dollar amounts for classic preppy looking clothes, you are forced to buy(for the most part) clothes with tractors, dinosaurs, monkeys, etc on them. I know they are "cute" and for babies but I just wonder if they would sell more(not on sale) if they would make them more appealing to people.
My other complaint....people telling you to get your sleep now. Seriously???? I get that I will not get much sleep once the baby gets here, but it is not like I am not trying to get sleep. I want to sleep, it is just not happening. And I also am not a fan of people saying, just enjoy the time with your husband before the baby gets here. I am ready for the baby now and just excited. Why do people feel like there has to be an answer. Can they just not say, I know!

I agree, I've been scouring stores looking for cute boy clothes to stock the dresser with.
Along the same line with pictures, I can't stand the pictures of dad without a shirt on holding the baby in an equally undressed state. I know skin-to-skin is great, but don't post the picture for everyone else to see.

I guess my UO is that I don't like baby girls' clothes at all. Everything's so flowery and froufrou. I was in a baby store yesterday and I debated picking up a few girly newborn outfits just in case LO is a girl, and I didn't find one single thing I liked.
God help this baby if she ends up being a girl because I will be no help in the clothes dept as she grows :

I don't know what they have now but when I was pregnant with my son I found a lot of cute overalls and polo's with matching plaid pants/shorts at places like TJmaxx and Marshalls for cheap. They looked more like minuture boy clothes than cutsey little dog and tractor outfits.

OMG!!! Or the ones where the entire family is naked for baby photos. GAG!!!!

Similar to this concept: Blue is more gender neutral than pink. Everyone at my wedding shower said they were confused because they thought I was having a girl. GIRLS CAN WEAR BLUE! I can reuse blue for both genders!
ALSO, just because I register for blue things does NOT mean I'm having a boy! Thankfully, the outfit you sent me can *probably* be dressed up to be girly...minus the patch on it that says, 'little big guy.' (rolls eyes).

Blue is my favorite color! If we have a DD someday, she will have to like blue, too. Because that's all she's wearing after DS is through with them.

I agree. I totally understand the discomfort, outright pain, aggravation that comes w/ bedrest etc....b/c I'm there too....but I would love to be able to carry my LOs to 39 or 40 weeks....right now I'm hoping to make it to 36, but was told that it could be as early as tomorrow (depending on how Baby B keeps reacting to contractions). I know that at this gestational age they'd probably be fine, but I would so take a few more weeks of cooking these guys even if it meant more pain.

I have the opposite problem. I like boy clothes fine but I hate a lot of girls clothes. I think animal prints for a newborn are ridiculous. I also hate all of the tutus and that it is impossible to find girl clothes that are not pink or purple.
I also have a problem with most of the girls' clothes and I am having a girl. I hate the froufrou, anything in neon pink/purple combos, sparkles, and anything that implies that she is "cute" or anybody's "princess." Barf.
I also have a huge thing with the food on babie's faces if it is unrecognizable - there is a bumpie with an adorable son whose siggy pic is him with some clear/white goo all over his face and it looks perverse and I cannot help thinking it is gross. I feel bag about this because the kid is adorable however.
I hate things written on the bum of pants. Adults and kids alike. It's gross.
And I dislike Princess and Diva little girl clothes.
And amen on he Boys Will Be Boys BS. It's utter shiite to say because someone has a penis it's okay for them to be illmannered and gross. No way. My son will have manners.

Agreed!
you are both very lucky then. For two weeks i have had very lose bowels several times a day, bad backpain and bh contractions that hurt to move. I dont know how much more i can handle. With that being said, mine would be the conversation with my dh grandma and aunts when i tell them about my symptoms and they reply saying well we dont want the baby to come too ealr. Seriously i am not doing anything for baby to come early, if she comes early it is all on her own, i have no control over that. Ahhhh.
I ended up being a December 2012 mama. I was due jan. 17th but she decided she wanted to be here to welcome in the new year, lol
Big brother loves her. He pointed at her and said that my sissy.

Second, I agree with pp about the complaints of being pregnant and whatnot. It makes me so mad when I see/hear someone else say they are sick of being pregnant! I have been doing everything I can to stay pregnant including 14 weeks of bedrest and a cerclage, I'll take being a couple days overdue than being several weeks early!

AMEN! My baby girl will not be wearing anything that says "princess" or "diva" as long as I can manage it... which is definitely for the next few years. My sister gave me a ton of hand-me-downs and everything that says princess on it has been put in the Goodwill pile. No thank you!

I feel the same way. I want my baby to keep baking. Also, I selfishly want to sleep in a few more days.

I COMPLETELY disagree with the boys' clothes thing. I would have agreed 8 years ago, but I have 7 nephews since then, and I find their clothes adorable, and I find a lot of mom's put the tackiest crap on their little girls it makes me want to hurl. No, but seriously, I'm not big on tractors, basketballs and trucks, but rhinos, monkeys, puppies, and dinos and stuff like that... cute as can be!
