Wind + Skirts = Don't Mix!

I was on my way into work this morning and let's just say the wind is the strongest I've seen in a LONG time. I get out of my car in the parking lot with my hands full and there goes my skirt! I did one of the frantic glances around the parking lot to make sure no one saw, but really I was in too much of a hurry to pay much attention.

 I grabbed my skirt with one hand and tried to hold everything/unlock the office door with the other (all while talking to myself about how I just needed to hurry to get inside...I'm sure that made me look more sane to those that saw the incident!). Let's just say someone got more than one shot of butt this morning!

    It's crazy windy here, too! It almost knocked me over on my way from the parking garage to work, and I swear the building was rocking earlier (and I'm on the 20th floor!) Luckily, I wore pants today, though :)

    I'm in South/Central Illinois and I fell asleep last night and woke up to what felt like shaking. When my DH got home from work I asked him if we had had an earthquake it was so strong. He said it was just the wind. It sounds like the walls of the office are going to fall down any minute...that's not even counting the crazy ton of rain we got mixed in.

    I'm in St. Louis. A friend just posted that it's snowing where she is, but I don't think we have any snow downtown yet. Just crazy wind. My friend in Iowa is stuck with heavy snow, and a blizzard warning, so I definitely can't complain, though!

    I'm 70 miles east of St. Louis on Interstate 70. I have some friends in Alton that said they are watching it snow right now.

    I almost always wear boxers under my skirts for this reason. If they are clingier skirts, I wear boxer briefs.
