Food Processor vs Blender

No, it's not an episode of Robot Wars. haha I'm planning to start DS on solids in the next few days or weeks. Right now I just have a blender. Will this do for making purees? Or should I go ahead and get a food processor?

    I used a blender when I made food for DS, and it worked fine. Between having DS and DD, the blender broke and we didn't get a new one. I bought a food processor, and I think it's a little bit easier, but not so much that I think you need to run out and buy one. I'd try making food with the blender, and if you have trouble with it, consider a food processor.

    I did BLW, but being a nervous mommy I mashed everything really well with a fork for the first couple of weeks.  She just picked up globs of it with her fists and ate it like that. Messy, but it worked.

    I made DD1's food with a blender and it worked just fine. I plan on doing the same with DD2 this weekend!
