11w tomorrow/July 5th

*How have you been feeling/doing?

Pretty good overall--just tired.

*Any appointments or milestones?

Had my monthly appt this morning--heard the hb on the doppler and did the OB blood panel. Nothing too exciting. NT Scan in Wednesday next week!

*What were your highlights and struggles this week?

DD is super clingy this past week. She wants me to hold her all the time. And I'm exhausted.

*QOTW: What is your favorite childhood tradition for the holidays? Are you carrying it on with LO/future LOs?

I'm continuing on with one special present on Christmas Eve and the rest on Christmas Day. I don't have many good childhood memories, so it is more just something that I want to keep going with but make it more fun for our kids.

*How have you been feeling/doing? Feeling fine.

*Any appointments or milestones? Had an u/s on Monday, not quite what I expected, so I'll be going in for another on Monday 12/17, & my 1st ob appt is Monday as well.

*What were your highlights and struggles this week? Highlight: Embie has a h/b. WE DITCHED THE NUK!! Struggle: Embie is smaller than s/he should be.

*QOTW: What is your favorite childhood tradition for the holidays? Are you carrying it on with LO/future LOs? Each of get to pick out a new ornament for the tree every year. We have already started this.

*How have you been feeling/doing? Pretty good.. Just very tired

*Any appointments or milestones? I had my first OB appointment.. Baby's hb is still low.. Weren't able to get a good measurement of it on Monday.. Have another ultrasound on the 21st..

*What were your highlights and struggles this week? Highlights.. Happy to see LO still is growing and going strong.. But was sad to see the hb was still slow..

*QOTW: What is your favorite childhood tradition for the holidays? Are you carrying it on with LO/future LOs? One of the things I'm doing with LO that my Mom did with us is use old Xmas cards as name tags from Santa.. It was a fun way for us kids to always know which gifts were Santa gifts just by looking at the tags!! Looking forward to that being a special thing for my DS!

I had my baby!! Her name is Violet Soleil and she was born 12/7 at 9:55 am. She was 6 lbs. 13 oz. and 19.25". She came at 38w exactly.

I haven't found time yet to write my birth story. Hopefully soon...

I loved driving around to look at Christmas lights. We started this tradition again last year on Christmas Eve and will do it again this year.

Can I join? :-) I got my BFP on 12/10...I have been hesitant to say anything because I feel a little guilty about it. We werent trying at all and were very surprised. Knowing that there are so many friends who are trying so bad and are not having much luck makes it hard for me knowing it was easy for us this time around.

Anyway... What is your EDD/how far along? According to my LMP, Im due 8/16 and will be 6 weeks on Friday.

*How have you been feeling/doing? Aside from being super tired and battling a cold, I feel good. Just the usual nervous/worried/scared/guilty feelings on top of wondering how the heck we are going to take care of 2u2!

*Any appointments or milestones? I had an u/s when I was 4.5 weeks and we saw the little sac. My next appointment is Jan. 2 (I will be almost 8 weeks, so we are hoping to see a heartbeat!)

*What were your highlights and struggles this week? Highlight is being home with my family. We live in Mexico and I only get to see them twice a year, so it is so nice being home and having extra help with Lucas! Struggles, just lots of mixed emotions and not really being on the same page with DH about everything...

*QOTW: What is your favorite childhood tradition for the holidays? Are you carrying it on with LO/future LOs? Hmmm...I cant choose just one favorite tradition...but DH and I have definitely created new traditions for our family, combining both of our cultures together to make a new mix.
