Seriously.....just seriously.

 ok i want to start off by saying I miss some of you ladies!! I've been on the FB page a lot more lately, it's easier to access, but either way I miss this place!

Annnnnnd now I'm back to vent lol. So we are supposed to be getting 10-14 in. of snow tonight -_- not too thrilled about that. And it is supposed to be blizzard like conditions and the gov. has called a state of emergency. Sooo  FIL called DH and asked if he could stay the night tonight because he has to drive 45 min to work from his house, and only about 10 from ours. I dont mind, its really not a big deal, I just figured he could stay in SDs tonight since she has to go to her mothers tonight.

Welllllll then FIL asked if his gf can stay the night too? ummm what??? She lives in the same town we do, so instead of you 2 staying with us, why dont you stay at her place?? But of course DH didnt say no and so now she is staying too. On top of all this crap, SD is staying the night because school got cancelled and her mother can't take off of work. shoot me in the foot. right now.

 Mind you now, that we have 4 adults a 7 year old and a 2 month old staying in our 2 bedroom apt. I am going to blow up. I am so pissed that DH didnt stand up and say anything. Because now, his FIL and the gf are supposedly staying in MY bed (effing weird if you ask me) then SD gets to sleep in her bed, DH is a baby and is going to take the couch, which leaves me and LO on the floor....ummmm hell no. this is not going to fly. I am beyond pissed off, and there is pretty much nothing I can do. The snow is already starting to fall and its just going to get worse. I'll be home from work in about 20 minutes and I almost just want to sleep here because tonight is going to suck bawlsssss.

I just don't get how FIL thinks that this is ok? He knows we have a baby to take care of, why would he just invite his GF over. Why dont we just invite my parents as well?!?! ugghhh just so annoyed with DH and FIL right now.

 ok that got much longer than I had expected, so sorry about that and thank you ladies for letting me vent. I am just livid that I have to put up with this sh!t.

    I really question a man that is okay with making his daughter in law and 2 month old grandchild sleep on the floor while he is cozy in their bed with his girlfriend.

    Staying in your apt is bad enough, but in your bed?!? There is absolutely no way! My FIL stays at our apt in NYC sometimes when we aren't there, and I don't even let him stay in my bed then.

    Wth? This situation doesn't add up at all. I would feel the same way you do. I would definetly let dh know how I feel about all of this that way it will not happen again.

    If I were you I'd put FIL and the GF on the floor.  I am happy to have people over, but I would never give up my bed.  And how does your husband think it's okay to have him sleep on the couch and put you on the floor?  Sounds like he needs a good kick to the face.  Of course I agree with you and PP that FIL should be staying at the GF's place.

    Oh hell no! That ish would NOT fly in my house. DH would get throat punched and all three of them would be outside... Blizzard and all. Ok, that's a little harsh. There's no way in hell I would be sleeping on the floor in my own house, eff that.

    Yeah, ditto! You need to put your foot down and tell them that they will have to sleep on the FLOOR. Not your bed. Ew. And who puts a baby and mom on the floor???

    repeating your post title- seriously. you should sauy sorry can not sleep on the floor with newborn,

    Have them sleep in SD room and SD sleep on the couch! WTH is wrong with FIL

    I just want to say I love you ladies and FIL and gf are sleeping is SDs room with her, and we get our room back :) SD was pumped cuz she gets to have a sleep over with papa, so it worked out for everyone. I'm glad I said something when I got home because their plan was not going to fly. I feel a million times better and I get to sleep in my bed!
