DD will not keep her clothes on. Every time I turn around she is wearing just her diaper. She wouldn't go down for a nap today and when I went up stairs to get her she was just in her diaper again.
Has anyone else dealt with this? Will she stop on her own? Halp!
Re: Keep your clothes on!
Wow! I am impressed your LOs can take their clothes off themselves. It's actually a "milestone";). DD is not close to taking her own clothes off (apart from socks). If I get her arms out of her shirt she can do the rest but that's it.
I would think if you don't make a huge deal out of it, the naked phase will pass. Also give her opportunity to help getting dressed and undressed at appropriate times. If it is really a problem, you could go back to onsies..unless she can get those off too!
The biggest problem we've had is at nap time. DS was taking off his pants and diaper for a while. I'd come in and he was naked waist down. For a short time, I had to keep him in onesies for naps. He doesn't do it anymore.
DD just started taking off all her clothes and diaper when we put her down for her nap. It quickly progressed to bedtime. For nap and bedtime she is now either in footed pajamas with a snap over the zipper (hasn't figured out the snap yet) or footed pajamas with the feet cut out and put on backwards. So far this has stopped it. I don't care about her being naked, but the crib would be a mess if she slept like that for her nap or overnight.
She figured out the snap and the zipper on the footed pajamas first. She just started with the clothes during the day.
I haven't tried the backward footed jammies though. That is a good idea. And PP's are right, I shouldn't make a big deal out of it during the day. It's just kind of funny to come back into the room and have her laughing toddling around naked. LOL. I should take a video and use it later as blackmail.
