Blood in DD's poop

DD has had tummy trouble her whole life. I had to give up BFing and put her on elemental formula. We tested her stool again this week, and there is still blood. She is scheduled for upper and lower endoscopy in January. Hopefully we will finally find out what is wrong so we can help her feel better. So bummed right now.
DS born 8/8/09 and DD born 6/12/12.

    Aw poor baby. :( I'm sorry; that has to be so frustrating. I hope you are able to get some answers in January.

    :hugs: we had problems with ds too. Turns out it was bc of gluten and dairy.  Are you feeding solids now?  How long since you stopped bfing?

    No solids yet. I gave her a piece of banana the last two days.  She maybe got a few tastes in her mouth.  She was horribly upset and crying for hours the last two nights.  Not sure if it's related.  I stopped BFing at 4 months.  She has been on Neocate only for almost 2 months.  Before that, we tried Nutramigen which was a huge fail.  I am going to stop trying any solids until the endoscopy. I don't want to cause more tummy upset.

    She is also on Prevacid and Zantac, doses adjusted for weight.  Her GI provider (a nurse practitioner) is excellent and I feel she is in good hands; I am just impatient.
