AW b/c I am announcing it's my birthday.
The best birthday present ever part was my first OB appointment today!! I think I am finally a little excited and not completely worried 
!!
My appointment was at 4. Routine first appointment, with a second ultrasound (I had an early ultrasound last week). Based on my last period, I should have been due August 2nd. Based on the day I ovulated, I should have been due July 31st. And... the baby is measuring 4 days ahead, so my due date is now July 27th. DH was there today, too!
I am so relieved (so far). With my first pregnancy, I was measuring 4-5 days behind at the first ultrasound. And I wasn't anywhere near as nauseated (and barely vomited) as I am this time around. All good things, right? What I am worried about is that we saw the heartbeat around 8 wks last time. And it stopped a few days later. So I am sure I will be somewhat worried still for the next few weeks.
It's amazing how much it grew in the past 7 days! I mean, I know how fast it grows intellectually (I've taken and taught embryology)... but it's totally different to see your own!
DH and I are headed out to dinner & a movie (technically dinner during the movie)... for a low key birthday tonight!
