Nose problems

I apologize in advance for the descriptive and gross nature of this subject. For the last few months, whenever I blow my nose it's bloody. Bloody snot and bloody dried bugers. I've heard this is common and I have been using a humidifier at night since it started. I even use the humidifier in the living room while watching tv. It doesn't seem to help. Does anyone else have this problem and any recommendations?
Sorry again, I know it's gross but I'm desperate.

    Yep.  Bloody boogers right here.  I use a neti pot and a humidifier.  I have one humidifier in my room and another one going in our living room.  We have a "no fan" zone declared in the bathroom during shower time too.  I've found if I'm really diligent about making sure my house is humidified, it gets better.

    I've been having this too.  I don't think it's so bad.  I just blow my nose really well when I'm in a steamy shower and at night when I wash my face with hot water, and that seems to relieve the congestion part. We're getting a humidifier in January...

    Yes, I am having this exact same thing and I've never had it before. I blow it really well in the steamy shower and it helps some. I don't have a humidifier but I put a wet towel in a bowl next to my bed at night and that has been helping as well.

    Yep, I was having bloody boogers too, and I have been congested pretty much for 2 months straight now.  At my last appt the doc recommended a vaporizer which we now have in the bedroom and I think that has really helped.  We have started using menthol medicine in it this past week as both DH and I have colds, but ever since I started using it the bloody boogers have pretty much gone away.

    I'm not home or I'd look up the name. But, they sell this amazing safe for pregnancy moisturizing gel that goes in your nose. It has stopped all of my bloody nose issues.

    my 1st pregnancy i had a bloody nose for about 30 weeks of it,  ive been lucky this time and its not an issue

    Yes I've also been congested all pregnancy.  Bloody, green and/or sticky snot ...  Yummy ;) Almost like I'm constantly on the verge of getting sick.  I'm sure the blood is a result of how often/hard I'm blowing my nose, but still.  

    I read somewhere that it's all normal stuff so I wouldn't worry!

    Yes...isn't pregnancy great lol. I don't have a stuffy nose but I have bloody boogers every morning. I also have bloody gums when I brush my teeth...sexy I know. I had this when I was pregnant with DD1 and was told it was fairly common and that it was related to the increase in hormones and blood flow.

    Maybe a humidifier will work. I for one live in a very humid climate and it doesn't seem to help.
