I plan on taking away DD pull ups at night but dont want to be up changing sheet extra. She pee's in her pull ups since she know she has them on so want to test her for a week or two and see how it goes.

While I haven't used them, my MIL has for my niece. She said they are a little pricey but she only uses them when my niece sleeps over her house. She thought they worked really well.
I bought a washable mattress cover (just the top, not over the corners) for DS's bed since his mattress was brand new and I didn't want to be washing the mattress cover all the time (he went through a stage where he peed through his diaper pretty regularly). Don't mind washing the sheets constantly, but I just hate taking the mattress cover off all the time!
I haven't used them with DS yet but I got some when I was pregnant with DS2 for me. I had one mat on the bed when my water broke with DS2 and it held a looooootttt of amniotic fluid(sorry for the TMI). None of it got on my bed.
Anyhoo, I can't imagine a toddler peeing that much so it should work great.
